Desalitech's proprietary Closed Circuit Desalination (CCD^TM) technology and solutions are covered by an extensive IP portfolio, with over 75 granted patents in over 35 countries, dozens of additional patent applications pending and a wealth of knowhow accumulated over more than a decade of process development and field operations.

Patents were granted internationally without narrowing Desalitech's claims, claims that were examined by top IP experts and found to be of great value in protecting CCD technology and preventing any legal use of the technology without the consent of Desalitech.

In addition to the coverage of its core technology, Desalitech has filed complementary patent applications which relate to the integration of Desalitech CCD technology in various water treatment solutions.

Desalitech is also involved in the research and development of proprietary wind-power-driven CCD systems, for which patents are pending.
